It's sheer pity to realize that tattoos are frowned upon in today's 'modern' society. This post isn't a personal attack on the anon who commented on my "ah lian" tattoos on formspring.
No stereotyping here but here's the real deal, I only have 3 tattoos.
1.A pair of swallows and a quote "fight for trust and stardust" on my lower back.
(this tattoo is specially dedicated to a loved one whom I lost to death.)
2.I have the word 'Strength' in Greek with 14.08 (in urnfield numerals) on my ribcage
(strength is what every individual needs, and 14.08 was the day I saw the world.)
3. 'irie' on my left hip (irie; I relive, I eternally)
I don't see how quotes can be deemed as "ah-lian".
Before you stereotype people on the streets with tattoos, try taking a step back and look at things with a whole new perspective. It's body art, it isn't a reflection to seek attention. So please, quit being narrow-minded and look at art in a whole new point of view.
Pardon me, but this society needs to be less anal and boring. When will art ever be appreciated?
