because your smile is beautiful and it makes me happy."
Saturday saw us through a whole long "to-do-list".
1. Breakfast @ Anchorpoint/Ikea
2. Funfair @ CGS
3. Makeover @ Klearcut Hairsalon, Fareast Plaza
4. Dinner
5. Home
I really enjoy sitting in fudgekin's car only because we'd get crazy singing th songs on th radio out loud and every single time I get into fudgekin's car I realized that my boy listens to oldies, and by that I mean real-old-classic-love-songs. Anyhow, after our usual breakfast routine @ Yakun Anchorpoint (coffee + soft boiled eggs + Kaya toast)
we headed over to Ikea to get ourselves Hot-doggie-dogs!
Ikea gets exceptionally crowded on th weekends and we saw a whole lot of little ones running around. My morning just couldn't get any better seeing th little kiddies running around with faces beaming with glee. We decided to buy a pack of Ikea sausages for fudekins' parents and th staff asked if we needed a plastic bag for th wieners. So..... we said "Nah, it'd be fine without th bag." So.. My boy swaggered away with his new look, "wieners in a pouch."

and.... we came up with a brilliant idea to keep th sausages "cool" so it wouldn't go bad.

Amusing isn't it? And just in case you are wondering if we got out of th car smelling like your yummy ikea sausages, th answer is.... An obvious no.
Next Stop was to head down to CGS to support my sister at her school's fun-raising funfair. When we got there, parking was definitely a challenge but we were lucky enough to get ourselves a lot and we had to wrestle our way through th crowd of girls. I swear, it is a terrible nightmare to be trapped in a crowd of girls who were screaming/shrilling/whining. God, save me out of that mess.
We managed to find my sister and we blew 5$ on a box of popcorn at her store. It was really pricey but oh wells, all proceeds are for a good cause. We filled our tummies with a whole load of junk food at th funfair. We bought churros which were awesomely yummy with th oh-so-sweet cinnamon sugared coating:

I swear our lips tasted like sugar~~ Olright, junk food aside, th Singapore Wrestling Team was "performing" at th fair itself too!

We spent 2 hours or so "touring" around th school before heading off to town for lunch @ Hans.

Fudgekins had his roasted chicken set while I had my grilled fillet set. Very very satisfying.
Next up! Th BIGGEST HIGHLIGHT of our Saturday, it was time for Fudgekins' makeover. Yes, it was my crazy idea of dragging him into th salon and giving him a new look.
So...... We popped by a friendly hair salon called "Klearcut" at Fareast Plaza.

Fudgekins had absolutely no clue on what he was in for. So... I showed th stylist a photo and I told her.... "Under-cut".
This is fudgekins BEFORE his cut:

Fudgekins went all silent when th stylist took out th shaver:

Fudgekins getting pampered with a hairwash + head massage (LOL)
Long and behold: TH UNDERCUT.
