I burnt my Sunday away at th 2XU compression run over @ Th Singapore Flyer this morning.
Usual pre-race routine:
Wake up call > Carbo-loaded + Caffeine Dose > Pre-race focus > Music Therapy > Warm ups > Setting my mind on th finishing line after I pass my start line.
Th run wasn't that bad, it just felt like there wasn't a "push" to it and I took th race really lightly. And that shouldn't be th way. I am well-aware that I should not be at my peak at this race as I am gearing up for my upcoming Trifactor Series but.. I felt like it wasn't an excuse for me not to give my best. I swear I was running so freely and for th first time..... I felt no push. Absolutely no push at all. It was kinda like a "fun walk" for me. But uh? I hate that feeling.
I will update my blog post on my timing for today's race when th results are released. (I wouldn't be surprised if I did badly)
On brighter note, Aaron rode over to th Sg Flyer just to say "hello". Seriously, my brother right there is one hell-of-an-island-rider. No messing with him.
Highlight of today's race. Fudgekins came down to support me at my race and he met my dad for th 1st time. It was hilarious, but EPIC. I swear I was about to laugh my pants off at th conversation they had... But... nonetheless, I still feel fudgekins' expression was really adorable.

"I can’t remember what you wore or what th weather was like on th day we met. I only remember that you said hello in a voice that sounded like love."
