"They call it madness, but they don't know how in love we are."
Fudgekins and I decided to kick it ol'school today. We had our usual breakfast set "toast + coffee + boiled eggs" over at Yakun Cafe before heading to Clementi wet market to buy our groceries for today's home-cook lunch. I know, wet market!
I don't want to sound like a typical "aunty" but what th heck! We bought our groceries for lunch all under $10.
In our grocery bag:
1 pumpkin/ 1 huge lettuce/ 5 eggs / mushrooms / 2 corn on cobs
Alrighty folks, meet my lover-boy. I swear he has all it takes to be a wonderful "takehome chef"
that's th loverboy busy washing th ingredients by th sink.
On today's lunch menu:
1.Steam pumpkin
2. Corn on cobs drizzled in maple syrup
3. Mushroom Chawamushi (Fudgeykin's specialty)
I count myself really lucky to have found a wonderful boyfriend who cooks really well.
Long and behold th yummy mushroom chawamushi:
I couldn't resist th temptation to dig into th chawamushi. Hence, th "already-half-eaten" photograph of fudgeykin's specialty.
Bon Apetite~
After lunch, I went over to NUH to visit Grammy. She's feeling better and I am so thankful for that. I brought herbal tea for her and I entertained her with my usual nonsense. Sigh, I wish I could stay over at th hospital with Grammy so she wouldn't feel lonely in th night. But th nurses over at th ward are so strict on th "visiting hours".
I shall go over to visit Grammy after my training tomorrow.
Goodnight, and tomorrow will be better.
xxx.
